A unopened magnolia bud at the arboretum. Taken with a Canon 180mm macro lens & a ring flash. I think this about to become my new favorite lens.

This blossom was roughly fist-sized and about 2-3 meters off the ground. I also had to shoot about the same distance through some branches. The narrow field of view from this lens was perfect for that.
