Ahh..this upload made me sad when I first saw it....are these birds that are to be exported? Or are they at a zoo? They are very beautiful and as much as I love having a bird around, I wonder :( ...lovely job on the photo. :) PJ

Yes, that's the same thing I feel when I'm visiting the ZOO. But perhaps they have a better life than the one they would have got if they were free (although this might seem strange to say).

Lifes around said Phil the 35 millimetre cameraman. I recently went to the doctors, and said I've got icon fever, but he told me there was no cure for the disease.

I have to admit that I have a budgie, but his cage is open most of the time and he is so spoiled.

Are captured or bred into the cages I wonder? They look as though they are looked after though. Nice picture, certainly a discussion one.

I am guessing that this is a pet shop. In Turkey, many of the pet shops were out doors too.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I adore budgerigars, they are such lovely birds, and so beautiful. These look well cared for, and you have taken a nice picture of them without the wire being distracting...thanks for sharing...Jacquie
