This is an older shot I wanted to share just because the flowers were so amazing. I took this with my first digital camera back in '04 (Nikon CoolPix 3.2MP) and I just happened to be in the area at the right time for the best wild flowers I've ever seen. I do wish I would have had a film camera or better digital - but such is life. Enjoy!

First off I want to welcome you to caedes. It's a good place and you'll like it here. There are many really nice people who love to help or just be friends..now then...Only the Grand Tetons can give us a photo like this! THere are just no other mountains quite as grand. You took a most awesome shot..with all those gorgeous wild flowers..wow..its not that often that there are flowers to be seen for very long in that area..I try to take road trips to Montana every year or so. It's the most wonderful place..my camera goes wild there!!heehee I got this photo in the VB and gave it a perfect TEN...it should get a twenty..:) Thanx so much..Fav..Verena

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. This location is truly one of my all time favorites. Makes me somewhat homesick to see it! You should all visit the area in early July, and if you stay off the main roads, you'll miss the majority of the tourists!

me of our family trips in the 50's--my father always stopped in
