This is one of the very first sunset pictures I took with my Olympus C-5050 (a simple, yet loveable little camera). The picture was taken on the boardwalk in Nahariya, which is a small town in northern Israel. What caught my eye were the red skies, which were caused by the sunset and some heavy clouds that diffused the sunlight beautifully. I took about half a dozen pictures with varying exposure times, but this one was my favorite. Unfortunately, I didn't have much to work with frame-wise, since the beach had rather boring surroundings, but still, I found the set truly unique. Any comments?

wow, I really like this, sometimes simple is best and sets off the subject perfectly.

This is a sail? as on a sailboat? Why does it appear as tho it has metal on it? Is that what it is? a metal sculpture? Its a beautiful photo...the silhouette is fantastic and of course so is the sunset colour. By the way, welcome to caedes. We will look forward to many more of your photos....

This is interesting to me, I like that the sillouhette isnt completely black, you can still see some of the brickwork etc. I hope we all get to see some more captures from your travels.

Ah, Israel, a place I hope to one day visit! This capture is remarkable! The golden tones truly bring out the artistic design of the sails...a beautiful capture and high marks from me!
