The passage of time consistent and seasonal. The flow of spring, the rise and fall of summers heat, then soothed by falls gentle but all to short and abrupt rest bit, combined with the shock of winters harsh ice; all reassure and provide a congruous harmony.
Elemental in form with a lighthearted dance of fluid color with just the right amount of angular unexpectedness to amuse and add a sense of wonder.
What the hell is this all about hun.Send a PM if necessary.I kind of like it on an instinctive primal level but it's so simplistic. Were you on drugs when you did it.LOVE some of your other stuff though. You're an enigma alright! This comes from someone uneducated in the fine art field.Best wishes babe,Andrea:-)
this reminds me of some eels swimming underwater with some weed! i like this alot, even though it probably isnt what i interpret it as! lovely flowing lines.
I will admit I am not very good at interpreting what the artist's true meaning is. But they say art is subjective, and thus, like beauty, it must be somewhat in the eye of the beholder (at least a bit). Perhaps I'm too literal, but in your drawing I see a beautiful boat, with sail FULL, staying atop a beautiful swell in the sea. The clouds, driven by the same wind, furl and billow like the ship's banner. Well, that is just how I saw it.. perhaps because I love the sea. cheers, Quiet
You know when to stop, and you know how to reduce to only necessary components. I wish I had your discipline and fortunate flair for simplicity in composition. Well done!
"There are no rules and regulations for perfect composition. If there were we would be able to put all the information into a computer and would come out with a masterpiece. We know that's impossible. You have to compose by the seat of your pants." -Arnold Newman
All of earth is crammed with heaven And every bush aflame with God But only those who see take off their shoes. - Elizabeth Barrett Browning<p>
