Another well known face from yesteryear. Eisenhower, while President, in the 1950's, is probably better known for his accomplishments, as the Supreme Allied Commander, during the final years of the Second World War. Don't remember precisely when I shot this, but it was undoubtedly in Michigan, during the 1960 Election campaign, between Nixon and Kennedy.

A great portrait of Eisenhower, who just happened to be the President when I was born. A keeper for sure..... thanks Doug.

Hi friends! I have some projects I need to get done, so I won't be able to visit Caedes as often as I would like. Appreciate you all very much, and will try to comment as much as possible. !

Eisenhower is the first President I can actually remember being elected. Nice portrait. The grainy look just makes it look better and more of the era.

Great picture Doug. I wasn't even born yet. His retirement home in Gettysburg, PA is not far from where I live. Every year they have World War I and II living history at his home. I only have been there once but it was very nice.
Definitely one of the better men of our past.

I've seen a few shots of him looking straight on and it always struck me what a hard gaze he had. A man of power before, during and after the Presidency.
