Abstract->Fractal
Well, I haven't given up on Fractals, entirely. This is a Tierazon frustration, which was beautiful in colour, but I swore at it once too often, and it turned B&W. Rather than deleting it, I opened it in an editor, and employed a sphere generator, to create the planet, in my own image. Bald.

A great fractal .... I love the B / W & the sphere gives it an added 3D look. I'm glad you haven't given up on fractals entirely. This is a wonderful image.

I really like the black and white here Doug. I would really like it if the fractal filled the entire page. It seems weird with the black space. I know absolutely nothing about fractal making (and probably never will), so my opinion is just based on what I like and don't like. I like everything about the fractal and not everything about the frame? Good job though and quite unique! Thanks for sharing this with us :~)

Well, Doug, you made the proverbial silk purse. Not that the fractal wasn't good when it was in color--who knows? But now it is so different that you have invented a new art form. Step aside Mandelbrot. Great idea!

I think you have done a great job on thie ' mishap' as you call it. I like your choice in making it B&W. The sphere has added that extra depth which the image needed to get the overall look you were going for. Great work
