Came across some low hanging clouds awhile back. I generally just shoot the clouds/sky for potential backgrounds, but this sky also had a hill with a few trees along the ridge-line, and I added this shot as well. Just cropped off a second tree along the left border.

This one's pretty unusual for you, Doug, and quite a departure for I would call your "norm". Looks very nice but doesn't rattle my chains as much as usual.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

That is quite the sky Doug. I can see why it peaked your interest. The tree just needs a sky hook to grab on and go for a ride.
Looks like you might have used a little blur to quiet it down a bit.

This one exudes softness, Doug. I like the richness in the colours. An interesting composition with the tree anchoring the view.

We had a TV program some years back called The Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy and this post reminded me of that!..

Good shot of a great cloud

I very much enjoy the humorous concept of this photo but I believe the thumbed tree cooperated with it much more that the cloud did. The cohesion, direction and velocity of the cloud seem to be, alas, 'nebulous.' Maybe if you were to camp at this site for a week a cloud more explicitly depicting forward motion may drift by, possibly one with a few white streaks in its wake for visual emphasis. I do appreciate my initial 'E' dead center.

Very impressive and feels like almost tangible - soft and fluffy with great bold colours - I like it very much.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

The contrasts make that cloud 3 dimensional. A beautiful sky, Doug.
