This is Main Street, Paris. The Champs Elysees is eight lanes wide, including parking lanes.They drive like maniacs, horns blaring, weaving across lanes. This fellow on the bench has been trying to get across this street since he was thirteen. It really is quite an experience though.

Yes he's thrown in the towel! Sounds like the roads/streets in Chicago. I really like the vintage shots you are posting. Full of history and other interesting things. Nicely done.
