This is a B&W version of a similar posted image. I thought this better represented the unusual five days in south Texas, where each of those days produced an entirely different cloudy sky. All were nothing short of spectacular, and it never rained a drop.

It never rains in Texas. The liquid comes from below! A nice B/W shot with all those curious "Marathon" machinery.

Is this the home of Marathon Oil, Doug?
Looks like there is a lot to see there.
The slight tilt to the shot gives in an intriguing look.
Kinda Stephen Kingesque.

What a glorious scene, Doug, and I really like the narrative to put things into context. The B/W accentuates the textures in the clouds and even in the shingles on the roof. I'm hoping that you intended to give the shot a tilt for what TicK called "an intriguing look". If not, may I suggest that you stay away from the desert mushrooms? Marathon, Texas? Note to self: Don't spend the night at the Bates Motel in Marathon, Texas.

So was this the start or the finish line? A good b/w conversion of the image Doug. A great dramatic sky in the background.
