We call these, Dutchman's Breeches, and this is the first time I've seen a vertical stalk of them. Usually a mass of ground cover, this one decided to go out and see the world.

I always thought they were Widow's Britches, Doug.
Must be a Missouri thing.
Wonderful DOF and the Bokeh background is superb.

Lovely, maybe the rest of them will straighten up to see what's going on in the world. They are amazing though when you come upon them. Delicate little things. Nice job.
