This is more or less a second attempt at this image. I received some feedback and with school just getting out, I finally had time to make a couple changes to my first image. I rotated it just over a degree to fix the horizon line that was slightly off and I gave the sky a different tone to differentiate that and the water a bit more. I also think the tone works well with the colors of the trees. That is just my thought though. Let me know what you think. EDIT: First Image

Even though Cat brought up excellent points on your first post of this shot, & I do agree that correcting the horizon helps a lot, I preferred the first post. I guess I liked the sunnier look to it is all. Still, there's no denying this is one fantastic shot !

Interestingly enough, I was thinking of clarifying the blues of the sky and the water to set them off against the fall colors of the trees.

This definitely works as it is here and has a little bit of a surrealistic feel to it.

Any hope of seeing it w/a clearer blue sky and water? (not necessarily an increase in the blue itself, just an increase in the contrast of those areas) *pants excitedly*

I think it's beautiful. The new sky color makes it feel very warm and soft and the the water adds that beautiful sparkle.
