sunset watchers at first encounter beach in eastham, cape cod bay... all over the bay side of the cape people come to the beaches to watch the sun set... it's a regular community happening, and when the main event occurs, everyone becomes quiet and still... it's a moment filled with shared reverence, something I've never experienced anywhere else...and when the sun finally disappears below the horizon, it's met with applause!
