dreamdancing birds, mirrored in the silver seawater, skimmed the surface for fish before the sky drew down to final darkness...they seemed the only things that moved in such stillness... rock harbor, orleans, on cape cod bay... the 'trees' are there to mark the channel for boats going in and out of the harbor...

I just love the narrative you sent along with this, Mary..sorry to be so late, but better late than never for this one. Everything about it is ....can't think of an adjective that's going to completely encompass this scene.! My Desktop and into my faves file.
