the gentleman who owns all this, on oyster pond river in chatham, reminds me of Quint, the Robert Shaw character in "Jaws".... although he's a lot nicer and instead of shark jaws he has shark and swordfish tails nailed up all over the back sides of these buildings... when I introduced myself last summer - I had stumbled on his place quite by accident - he gave me his card (yes, he actually had one) and said I could come down any time to take photos... the small building on the left has a plaque above the door that reads, "oyster river pirate co." and last summer he was flying the jolly roger below the american flag on the rather makeshift pole... of course, across the river reside a lot of chatham 'trophy' homes, very expensive properties, mind you...

Great narrative and I can almost picture the owner. I like all the tracks in the snow. Adds interesting lines. I can see the affluent homes across the way, but I have a feeling this gentlemen's property is worth quite a bit. Glad to see he's not selling. Excellent coloring and I like the light and shadows in this one. Very good Mary.

Like Quint needing a larger boat in Jaws, I think I need a larger hard drive to hold all of your shots! Another beauty from you today! Crystal clear and I love your detail.

Tick must be aware by now of growing competition here in narratives ! LOL
I love you both, honestly, but must admit that my preference is up to the point rather than savouring the style LOL
This means you, Mary ! I give you 10/10 all the time in VB for this !
