the weather was volatile and changeable to say the least... five minutes previous the sun was shining in a blue sky, five minutes after this picture I was engulfed in a sudden white-out snowfall... (this is the chatham, cape cod, fish pier)

The orange/red buoys(?) add to the drama of the scene. The contrast is really excellent.

Happy Valentine's Day, Mary! I too like the color added by the buoys. I also like the view of the house in the upper left side of the photo. But of course, the main feature is the sky, boat, and water reflections - all superb.

I find the boat's name great. You had to have some to appreciate. The sky is phenomenal. You took some great photos that day. You must have been hurrying around like crazy. Well slow down before you fall and break something. lol Happy Valentine's Day Mary.

Love those jelly bean shaped melon colored accoutrement hanging off the boat. Perfect contrast color to the menacing grey-green-blue of the water and sky.

Was trying to find a place in your galleries to jump in on ... wasn't easy, as you have posted some really stellar images since my last visit ... this one though ... has a lot of depth, visually and conceptually to my eyes.
That brooding sky ... deep, rich colours with strong pops of colour contrasts coming from the boat(s) ... in a word ... nice. :o)
This mean you are well on the mend? Hope so.
And but of course, thanks for sharing your talents with 'us'.
