it's getting downright lush and summery here already... this is an open field in dennis (cape cod, massachusetts)... to the left of the picture is a large community garden...

You've done it again, Mary! You have such a good eye for scenes like this. I love the simplicity of this capture and in particular the rich green of the grass and the bluish tinge to the wall and tree trunks. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, you hit me in one of my soft spots...I have loved buttercups since I was a child...in fact it was one of my first subjects when I got my own camera at 7....
