nothing except the wind sculpted the sand here, in the same way the ocean creates ripples where it touches the sand... the shadows were getting long and it was time to start back... (cape cod, massachusetts)
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

Ah, my kind of landscape. This is a wonderful vista, Mary and I could sit on those dunes for hours and watch the shifting sands and clouds. I especially like the blue in your shadows, which contrast strikingly with the warm glow on the hummocks.
HiMary...Oh I love this sort of thing. Once in a rare while I go to the beach at the Pacific here and see patterns on the sand that only the wind and the grasses have made. I love that a lot, and you captured a beautiful scene for sure. There's nothing quite as lovely as what nature brings to us. I love the shadows stroking the sand, and the soft glow the sun has brought along with those wonderful clouds. It is a magnificent day for your photo.I tell ya what, let's trade places for a week or so, you come to Oregon and I'll come to Cape Cod..How about that? Wouldn't that be fun?!!! Thank you so very
much my dear friend. Verena
