himself and herself after the cygnets had flown the coop... so to speak... they didn't look too overwhelmingly sad to me...

Good light and clarity on this one. I would have allowed it to go wider to get a fuller effect from the ripples (and make it screen shaped), but it in no way detracts from the picture which is excellent.
