You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

This is stunning, Charlie. He is a beautiful Lorikeet and your composition is delightful. I especially love the lighting here -- the way the tailfeathers are backlit.
A superduper shot of this handsome fella. His colours are dazzling and so vibrant - even his beak is flaming red! He's looking happy on his branch and the background low key colours contrast well with the Lorikeet. Top job Charlie :)
Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.
