Look at him strutting his stuff! What a magnificent bird and what a great capture. Caught my eye right away in the thumbnails. I don't think I could bear to look at this come November! LOL

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wow...I saw one not too long ago, but I was too close to do the thing justice. You've certainly filled the bill with this one. Can I "borrow" him for Thanksgiving?

He is a beautiful show off - maybe there was a lovely sweetie around. His plummage is gorgeous, and I like how the sun is shining on his feathers. I'm amazed at how many feathers he has - an impressive guy. Love the earthy colors and the zing of red. Thanks Charlie, for this beauty :)

I need to catch up on things so can't comment too much. But I love all of your fine images :)
