Life is filled with great things that stand out from the monotony, yet so often we pass "diamonds" by because we always see them and fail to appreciate their uniqueness. Christmas is a time with more diamonds than usual stuffed into a small time period. These diamonds come every year, and it is easy for me to forget that they are there, just like I look over every gleaming Christmas light on the tree and think "Oh, gee. Another shrub." Life is full of diamonds, and it is our job to point them out to or friends, thank God for placing each one where it is, and spending a moment to be grateful for each. Congradulations to anyone who knows this song, "Don't miss the diamonds along the way..."
