Naddia, I share your sentiment here - something that was useful is no longer needed. It also reminds me of something forgotten, left behind, not attended to. Very good, thought provoking and interesting capture! - Patty

Wonderful image. It does make you think like Patty said. Being from New England, it reminds me of long abandoned pasture land. There were a lot of those here in the not too distant past, but in pursuit of the elusive notion of 'progress', much has been turned into housing developments and shopping malls. Oh, there are scattered Dairy Farms, but most people get their milk from stores now. Funny, how things can change so quickly. See, you got me thinking and reflecting. Signs of a great photo!

Naddia I don't recollect the war but I do remember back in my youth on Daddy's farm when we worked hard in the fields and put up these fences for our livestock and had to regularly check them to mend them and such. I worked from before the sun rose and a lot of times till it got too hard to see at evening. The war that concerned me at the time was Viet Nam.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.

This picture really makes you think about what once was. The colors are crisp and clear and the scene is well composed. Very well done!

I love the simplicity of this image, but it does get thinking how quickly things change. Very nicely done.
