Neon piano strings. A three-bladed camera shutter. That folded hard candy we used to have at Christmas. Scales of an electronic fish. There are so many different things going on here but the element that ties so much of it together, and gives the whole scene a 3-D feel, are those three curved lines merging at a vanishing point of sorts, the point appearing as though it were behind the entire scene. The haze you've given them reminds me of minute sparks coming off wires so charged with electricity they glow. They infuse this image of yours with an incredible amount of energy. I think they are essential here because without them the image would be flatter and more static. This thing is ALIVE!
