I love those colours. It could be a giant fly also. Very nice design!

(You already know this, Lori - I'm just explaining to our brethren here.) The Triadobatrachus massinoti, from the Early Triassic of Madagascar, is a "proto-frog," about 250 million years old. It is a "proto-frog" because it had not yet quite evolved to the combination of features that we think of as being associated exclusively with frogs. There is a large structural gap between frogs and salamanders, and the Triadobatrachus has many of the features that you would expect from an organism that is intermediate between the two. The tail on Triadobatrachus comes from the fact that it is still part salamander. Very bright, very colorful, very frog-like, and very cool, Lori. It's going to look great on my screen, thank you for submitting it. Oh, and great title and research, too!

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.

Lori, your frog is boss! That is what I hear from those much younger than me, these days {on a good day, that is). I think your frog has insect tendencies. A head, a thorax, and abdomen. Three things you have so creatively produced and the three things that make a thing an insect. Whatever, frog or bug, I love it and think its great (er, boss).
