Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone for the fantastic comments and critiques on my previous submission. I really enjoy hearing what you think :)

This is the works of a collaboration between Nikoneer and myself. It started with my turquoise butterfly and Pen Tool work, but I felt it was missing something. I showed it to Nikoneer and he suggested adding some semi-transparent "fleeting" elements, I loved the idea but had no idea how to do it. So, I sent it to him and we came up with this, only after his other excellent idea of adding the smaller glowing butterflies. We hope you enjoy our combined efforts! Comments and critiques are most welcome and always appreciated. Thanks for looking! Lori

It seems the two seperate pieces of 'lace' are sewn together. Thats wonderful what you did with this. The colour is amazing. So very soft and gentle. I really like that this looks so much like silk. Thanx Lori, for yet another wonderful work of art. Verena

Good grief Lori just amazing! semi-transparent "fleeting" elements was a great idea! Gives it some nice motion. The butterflies coming in from behind is just plain cute! Really a brilliant creation for the two of you!

Another exquisite and highly original piece, Lori.
I love the way you've included that steel-grey piping along with the more delicate lace, flowers and butterflies.

I like the concept of the image, and I think the fade suggestion was a good one.

I have one critique & a suggestion:

1. The gray/metal-y/embossed element distracts me from the softness of the rest of the image. I think that the hard, straight lines make for good contrast, but the addition of gray gradient and embossing takes away from the original image (that's the first thing I noticed in the thumbnail); I think part of the reason is because there's already a fairly thick stroke/outlining on the butterfly image. I would suggest either getting rid of it or changing the layer style (something simpler, like a plain color w/o embossing)

2. What if you made the BG yellow or orange (or some contrasting color)? I think that would enhance the opacity/fade effect and make it pop out more instead of the blue fading to gray.

Anyway, just my suggestions :)
