Just an old "Grampa" who still has a Kodak "Box" camera kicking around the attic ... learning and enjoying the wonders of modern digital photography.
Beautiful capture. The flower is shaped like a star. Very soft and delicate with lots of detail. What type of flower is that.

Ted, this is beautiful. What a wonderful shade of blue. I like the detail of the lines that run through it. Did you notice, that at the center, at the end of the stamen or whatever you call it, it looks like yet another bloom is trying to pop out? Most unusual. The detail of the center of this bloom is stunning. Great work.

Oh what a tantalizing blue bloom. Wonderful close-up with good detail of the purple veins/lines on the blue.The inner part is interesting-looks like a lil figure :) This gorgeous flower stands out against the lovely greens in the background. Fantasic work and thanks for a truely blue flower :))
