First off, good capture of the action, the story tells itself. I think a little more of the posts showing would add to the image, emphasising the balancing of the ones on the posts. The water at the top is a little superfluous and could also be cropped, letting the action fill more of the frame. I do like the effect of the movement of the wings of the landing gull, almost like a painting.
Out of interest, I downloaded it full-size and did a 1920x1200 crop on it so the gulls filled the image. That worked for me, although the post processing is a little obvious at that size.
