Just a dandelion after the rain. I liked the feathery look of it's parachutes and, of course, the tiny water droplets. I used a bit of HDR effect to really bring out the detail of the seed-heads in the middle. So many things look so beautiful right after a gentle rain, even a dandelion!

I love what the HDR did to the background color too. Love that pink stem and water droplets always add a dab of refreshment to a subject. It looks like it's whirling to me. Maybe an optical illusion, but a nice one. It's quite pretty and feathery.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Good capture of the dandelion with the colourful background Tina. There is some noise in the background but still it is a nice image.

Viewed large, it has a Native American feel to it.

I am not allowed to say Indian anymore. Nice one, T!

The HDR treatment has given it an almost surreal look.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Now that sure is different. You would think the rain would knock all the seeds right off of there! Beautifully done, Tina.

I was thinking it wouldn't survive the rain too. Glad it did and that you captured it.

Very nice capture my Friend. A dive into a 'tuft' of natural fractals....the smaller it get, the more detail...very cool and very delicate. 'INDIAN'... there, I said it!..ha ha...

Cool and interesting ( in a good way ) shot, Tina.
I like the angle and the colors.

Perhaps that Native American feel that Dan sees is due to the Native Americans past and present use
of the Dandelion to treat indigestion, and heartburn. Which Dan and Daniel shall have for the next 24 hour.... lol
