I was out trying to snap falling leaves, without much success. I caught only a few because it was very windy and they were falling too fast. I decided to use this shot for something completely different once I saw it. As you can see, I used a reflection effect, and I also used two different textures. The leafless tree texture is actually a picture of my living room curtains and the big leaf texture is from a picture taken of a carpet in a restaurant. If you would like to use either of them for any images, please let me know. Enjoy and thanks in advance for any views and comments!

This is really cool, and beautifully done, Tina. The reflections turned out great, and the textures are excellent.

Interesting effects here Tina. The colourful leaves make a strong contrast to the rest of the image.

I like your use of textures Tina. I too take shots of such things to use later as textures.

That's a very clever idea using the textured branches as a backdrop for your autumn photo...it works quite well together.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

Well done. It looks like a foggy day in a mist during Autumn. The textures are complimentary.

What a great marriage of two unrelated objects! I must agree w/ Cynlee in that it does remind me of a foggy autumn morning. Evokes a great deal of emotion for me.

my best images happen by accident. there is so much to be seen in the minutiae surrounding us that we often miss the very best.
