This red/orange and yellow Dahlia looks warm and sunny Sandi. Hope the snowstorm misses you but if it doesn't stay safe and toasty indoors.
take care

Bright crisp colors, very well done. The storm is hitting here in Missouri first, Blizzard conditions, 10 to 20 inches of snow. My feeders are full. I put out extra branches out to collect ice so my buddy's can land on them and fall on there butts. I am taking a snow day and hope to get some good photos.

We are having one of those Global Warming forecasts ourselves Tigz. I think Hank Williams wrote and sung this song about the Heartland. You photo is so very clear.

Wow.
That really jumps out at you. Like that bud on the right. Tiny, but enough impact to provide nice balance.

A lovely dahlia & I love the detail. The warm bright colors are simply gorgeous. Superbly captured, Sandi.

I got 4 - 5 inches of continuous light snow yesterday, but today the snow is blowing around creating large drifts ... it looks like a blizzard even though it stopped snowing. Stay warm & safe Sandi.

Love this dahlia Sandi - I'll be sure to look at it during the blizzard which as of now is taking a track directly towards Chicago in a couple of hours.

A gorgeous bloom Sandi - and I especially like the vibrancy of the greenery.
I always find the colour of the dahlia difficult to capture well - you have done a great job with it.
