Lake Webster has been kind to you and us as well Tigz. Nice of the duck to come out and add to an already impressive photo. If I didn't have to get us so early, I would take some of the sunrise as well. The tone is perfect.
Tell me Countess Sandi are you from the Darkside too..No one gets up so early to see the sun. This is the time the lid slides shut..Quickly or there might be some dusting to do..This would be magical if a mortal had done it..For a Vampiress,It's run of the mill.......CB
Fantastic view Sandi - The red rays of the rising sun reflecting from the edges of the dark clouds and the mirror-like calm water below look superb. Well done!
Hello Sandi....I am speechless..This is a wonderfully well composed and exposed picture....It is indeed a priceless masterpiece in colours made by nature and captured, masterfully, by you Sandi......Well done....All the very best to you Sandi.........Mick.
I'm up at 6:00 every morning but never seem to get to the lake on time to shoot anything like this. How very thoughtful of the clouds to meet you so early, and a special thank you to Mr. Duck for adding a touch of interest. I imagine you had to elbow your way through the throngs of photographers to get to this unobstructed view. And I don't want to read in the New York Times about any more of your assault charges on photographers using walkers. Some people just get out of the way fast enough.
This is a wonderful capture of this colourful serene scene. I particularly like the silhouette of the the duck too. Makes a wonderful DT too. Fav'd and thank you for sharing! Ann
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . .
