I did not like the background in this one, so it's been heavily cropped.

Sandi - It's too bad that birds don't consider the backdrop for these photo ops; it makes it so much harder for the photographer! This is very well done. What glass did you use for this shot? Thad

I think the vertical crop suits the bird's position perfectly.

And I find a 90 degree clockwise rotation rather neat and easier to study, with this tight cropping. Something you can't often do.
It is a bit more dynamic as presented, but well worth viewing both ways.
