Not the best capture, but it does give you the idea of how fast these little creatures are. I cannot remember the name of this kind, and did not have any luck looking it up, I guess I'm inept this morning. :)
I did crop this image, they are small, and can be hard to spot, now that I know what they are, I can look for them in the garden.

I've never seen a hummingbird moth in person, but like you said they are very fast & hard to spot. Love the movement you caught in the wings. The purple & pink flowers make a nice contrast. Outstanding capture, Sandi.
