Shot this one at one of the many local lakes.

I had thought maybe I should clone out the blade of grass on the left, but decided to leave it. :)

Thank you for the views, and comments.

I think you made the rite choice Sandi, the Gull looks real sharp; I also like the composition. This is a really nice shot.

I love the gull in focus, and the background nicely blurred like that. Gorgeous shot, Sandi.

I think that blade of grass belongs for balance - excellent clarity and color in this and just the right DOF.

I like how how he is looking right into the lens.

Beautiful clarity and the seagul looks to have a great interest in the photographer :)
I am used to black or red legged/beaked gulls so this one with the yellow is very interesting :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Absolutely wonderful. If you had not said anything about the grass I would never noticed it. Your subject is riveting. Excellent bird in sharp focus with great exposure and shallow depth of field making that good bokeh effect.

Life's moments are sweet. I just want to capture all that I can of them.
