I removed the first posting of this scene, after Les (purmusic) gave me some very good advice, my first posting was over sharpened, so I have tried to tone it down.

Defries is the actual name of this lovely gardens, named for the kind woman who donated the land. The design is that of the calendar months with revolving color.

Thank you for commenting, and I appreciate the constructive advice.

I do want to say thank you to those who already commented on the first one. :)

I didn't see the first one, Sandi but this is a beauty. Love the lighting and the color is just beautiful.

Beautiful, Sandi. And the background leafless trees really accentuate the diverse tonal range throughout the rest of the image. Very well composed.

That is so full of color. The Crayola Company would be so proud! LOL. Gorgeous work, Sandi.

Really nice Sandi. Good one and a keeper. It may be a little better than the first one but they are both good to me.

Now the strengths of your photo really come to the forefront, Sandi.

Echoing the above comments and even those on your original posting.. very well-composed.

Colours still look nice and natural.

Nice work, very nice shot.

And.. but of course.. thank you for sharing this one with us.

I did get to see the first one, as you know, Sandi... and I shall be trying my things out on this too!  Just to see for myself what the differences do (even those trials I didn't like!).  ☺
By the way, I do like this one as is... and liked the first one enough to try some things on it!

How are the rest of us supposed to learn from your mistakes if you take the image down? :)

I did see the first one and agree with your decision to post this new one.
It is a very inviting image - makes me want to take a stroll there and enjoy the Spring !
