Thank you for the views, and comments. I hope you have a good day. It's going to be hot, and humid here today.

To answer John's question, the title describes the type of plant that this is, but not the actual name of it, I'm not sure of the actual name. These retain moisture very well, and require little care. One from the Calendar gardens, not mine. :)

Sandi, I am one of the dumbest people on earth when it comes to flowers. I have to admit this because I am going to ask you if the name of these beautiful flowers is "Succulent," or is that word simply being used to well describe what I am looking at? You do have an amazing garden.

Bright summer colors for a hot day Sandi. My suggestion, have a large pitcher of iced tea nearby, or better yet a cool Gin and Tonic! Stay cool!

The thing that goes the farthest, towards making life worthwhile, it costs the least and does the most, is just a pleasant smile.

Sandi (and John too, lol), to me this succulent is the yellow flowered species of the Kalanchoe blossfeldiana (after checking-out the link see the small images (right) at the bottom of the page).

Good captured taken with a good angle (vantage point).
Well done!

Regards, Cornelius.

Succulents have never been my favourite but this was always a mistake ! Since they require little care they are just perfect for me..:) Thanks, dearest SAS, learned SEAS, and inquisitive SAC.

I think Mr. C is on the right track on the identification of this it's an atypical kind of kalanchoe not the kind we usually see - well captured Sandi - it brightens the screen - hot and humid here today as well.

Beautiful flowers Sandi. It looks very Spring like with all that yellow and green. Nice angle and depth of field.
