One more from the park in town, I think these blooms are a wonderful addition to an garden.

Used the Nikon set up for this one, and thank you in advance for your comments.

The colours of these are determined by the acidity in the soil..I like it...R.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Wonderful deep background really sets off the beautiful hydrangea - one of my favorite blooming shrubs.

Sandi, thanks for both a splendid image and the link to a fine song of C, S, & N.
My favorite is this one.

PS: Hydrangea in a park have mostly a 'heavy life' because they have to be watered on time and for a public park it's forgotten often. These ones however are in a perfect 'physical' (lol) condition.

Such great plants. Cut them back hard every year and you are always rewarded with a wonderful display. love the moody blue look of this.

Beautiful image showing the colors really well. They had these at Wimbledon but got rid of them because they are a pain to water...and they like a LOT of water!! Mine died in our drought. But back to your image...downloaded it and I think it will make a nice desktop, showing the icons well.

Sandi - A very fine capture of these blooms hiding in the shade. Winter in CT was particularly damaging to our hydrangea. An unusual warm spell in January promoted budding that got zapped by a cold freeze in February. So - we had no hydrangea blooms. Cutting back old growth, they did send out abundant new, so we may see the blooms next summer. In the meanwhile, I'll enjoy these very much. Thank you for sharing.

I can't spell hydrangea let alone grow them. Lovely colours in the blooms and a wonderful capture, Sandi.
