The same shot as this one just a different way of editing. Both were done using Photomatix Pro 5.0. The first I used fusion, this one was tonemapped, and cropped.

I feel it's a good example of how playing around with the same image can bring different results, I processed them back to back.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I prefer this version because it is somewhat More "peaceful" and although the sky looks more dramatic in the other one I like this sky more. Nice editing Sandi.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

Like Raj, if prefer this version too, Sandi. This perfectly captured and edited scene has some resemblance with the Lake of Veere, near my area. Tranquility all around there. Would feel myself completely at ease there.
Thanks for this beauty, my friend!

I like them both - they each have some good and different attributes - I love the one lone boat.

It would be interesting to see you replace the sky on this one with the sky on the other one. BTW, check the update link on your Photomatix Pro 5.

This shot looks surprisingly like one that I saw on Facebook posted by "not Tigs". I like this one just a little better although there is something to be said for the fully silhouetted version.

Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.

I also prefer tis version as I feel more part of it, being able to see the shoreline.
A lovely scene indeed

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

This is better, details are enhanced, really appreciate the beauty of this scene, especially in the reflection in the water.
