With all of snow, and cold I thought this would be a nice warm post for Foofy Friday, and gives us something to look forward too.

This is a sulphur butterfly and I saw so many of them last year at my friends beautiful wildflower garden.

Thank you for your comments.

Love seeing shots like this - warms me up on a freezing cold winter's day - can't wait to see the flowers in bloom and the butterflies soon - Great Capture Tigs!!!

This also makes me almost feel summer Sandi - especially if I look at this and not out the window!

I'm not a butterfly specialist Sandi, but I suppose that the Sulphur butterfly is a 'relative' of the Cabbage White butterfly. Anyhow a wonderful capture, that makes me desire for Spring too.

I especially like the warm-up part of your title, Sandi. We are getting a reprieve from all that brutal weather. It's not Springtime weather but it's warmer than before. I doubt I will see any butterflies around so this one is very welcome to view.

I'm with you and your butterfly, Sandi. NO MORE WINTER. Until then, we have your picture to remind us of the better days coming.

The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
