Sandi, while well raised dogs are obedient to the boss, it's almost the opposite for cats. They're making mostly their own decisions. So being quirky is a typical property for them. As long as they're a good home and are offered food in time can you get a caress with their head or do they take a grunting nap if they feel like it. Yet they bring cosines into the house. If you think you can't accept something, try to change it. But if this doesn't work, don't be frustrated, but give it later another try. The one who perseveres wins!
