Sandi, I envy you for your visit to the Chicago Botanical garden lately, what gave you an excellent opportunity to take exceptional Orchid captures. The photographic result of your 'photo shoot' is, up till now, wonderful.
Not the 'common' Orchid photographs, but very special ones (please notice the quotation marks as any Orchid capture isn't common at all). I like to repeat that the by you and your friend (as driver) done effort has paid off very well. Stunning series!

Nice photoshoot, I like this one the best so far, especially your choice of photos. Maybe I should have you photograph mine, ha ha... In any case, I like your choice of lighting. Makes for a fresh approach to orchid photographs: we (orchid enthusiasts) get used to seeing them in perfect daylight, so it's great to see a darker, cozier version.
