Took this one recently at wellfield botanic garden with the Nikon D500 and Nikkor 18-200 DX lens. I thought the color was unusual and it caught my eye. Thanks for your comments. Tigs♥ =^..^=

Sandi, because you've only photographed one tulip, it is an eye-catching color of this tulip indeed. If you were to see these tulips in a tulip field, the special colors and patterns would be less visible.

This is a lovely photo, especially with the details you have captured so wonderfully, bravo. I kind of wish you would publish a book on your incredible photos of so many beautiful parts of mother nature.

Pink streaked with red is unusual and quite lovely - I've yet to see any tulips blooming and with a very cold weekend with possible frost I don't think I will - so I'll enjoy yours!
