I love seeing the Monarch's. This is was in my files, and was taken with the DSLR. I did a crop, and a slight sharpen with a bit of added saturation. Thanks for your comments, I'm a hit and miss these days, so sorry. I have pre-op appointments, and things that need to be done before. I'm having a total left knee replacement Dec. 20th, I decided on inpatient care. Merry Christmas to me! :)) The right one next year sometime. tigs=^..^=

Sandi, no usual Christmas for you this year. I sympathize with you very much. I know from my own experience what declining health, due to old age or other causes, can bring. I hope you will recover quickly and be able to be present at Caedes again. I wish you lots of strength and courage, my friend, 👍 !

Nice shot of your little friend. We don't see many here, I do hope they start coming back this way. Lovely shot here and I hope your surgery goes well.

Sandi, like a rather large segment of our population, I too have had the right knee replaced. I had an excellent surgeon and I was up and limping about immediately. PT was next and it went fine too. My point, you'll be like your beautiful butterfly, dancing on wild flowers, in no time at all. You'll look back at this and think of it as one of the smartest things you ever did for yourself. Good luck, my friend. You're going to be so happy you did this! ~~ John

Best of luck with the surgery Sandi - I'm terrified of knee replacement after my late brother's experience so I've put off doing anything about my bad right knee. I wish you the best . . .

Great shot Sandi and the best of luck with your surgery. It is an easy operation now and you will be running around taking pictures again in no time.

Best wishes for the 20th Sandi. May you end up feeling as light and agile as this beauty of a butterfly

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
