Another very interesting capture from your trip to the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. I wonder, is this piece representative of the beak of a bird feeding on food? I wish I could make out the symbols on the beak in order to learn more of the artist's intent.

Sandi, this contemporary reddish glass artwork has the name 'Raven Steals the Stars'. It's created (blown and sand carved glass) in 2008. There's a pretty similar artwork (in a blueish color) that has the name 'Raven Steals the Sun'. There is a 'Raven Steals the Moon' too. They belong to the 'Raven and the Box of Daylight' series. They are created by the artist Preston Singletary.
For some further information please check-out THIS LINK and THIS ONE too.
The picture at the latter depicts 'Raven Steals the Moon. It's quite similar to the 'Raven Steals the Stars' artwork and can be found in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Raven Steals the Moon certainly fits this very unusual art work - another interesting piece.
