Ornamental grass, gone to seed. Taken with a Pentax Spotmatic F camera, Pentax S-M-C Takumar 55/1.8 lens, and FujiColor 200 film.

I don't know what it is about wild grasses, but I love them. They are sculptures to the wind and the sun and the soil.

I think the vivid colors in the background are really wonderful and fantastic, but would better serve as a backdrop if more highly blurred.
