There must be a 'Fatal Attraction' about you Robert!....getting those amorous insects to go near you!!!!
Lovely capture, my friend,,,and nicely composed too......Bob
Oh my God Bob. this is an amazing and so great shot...wow,,,,very neat and the colors amazing, and well speaking about those fellas....wow...cool....I guess after that u might have more visitors coming from their family...great shot my friend!!!!
Hey - this isn't fair - I tried to post a similar picture involving grasshoppers but was denied. Anyway - great capture!! I'm glad you got away with this one!
Agree. A few monthes ago we had a discussion in the Mods forum about to accept or not photos with wildlife copulation. If you go to the CoC, you'll read Unacceptable subject matter for images such as pornography, nudity, gratuitous wildlife copulation, registered trademarks... will be rejected..
All the discussion turns around the "gratuitous" word.
There is now a consensus between the Mods to accept photos like Robert's 'Multiplication', if the real subject is the beauty of the nature, not the copulation itself.
Mindy: I don't remember your denied upload. Feel free to repost it, if you want. I think it will be accepted IMO
Congrats Robert for this beautiful macro :-)
I must agree with ARNEH. The whole discussion has no bearing on what I consider to be an outstanding image. Good show Robert! Super clarity and color. keep up the good work!

Photography is not a trade - it is an art. It is more that an art.
It is a solar phenomenon,
where the artist collaborates with the sun.

Brilliant macro, as usual, Robert. Please accept my congratulations. PS: I know I'm a mere member, not fluent in English, but I do tell here and now that the word "gratuitous" in wildlife does not exist. In my opinion, everything in wildlife is purity, innocense, instinct of self-preservation.
Go ahead, Robert, hope to see more coming up!
Great capture Robert . This is one of those I wish I had a camera moments and how lucky for us all that you did. Very crisp , the color are great and great depth.
Very amazing they were on your car antenae and such delicate colours. I do think it was appropriate to mention what Mindy brought up, since that is how is 'used to be' here in caedes. It makes it clear. Thanks to Pierre for mentioning it. I think it sor sure is a part of nature..and well, the monkeys are a different group entirely eh?? lol...I think we relate to them as "more human" if thats the right words for it.I love the golden tone to their wings..just lovely..to be able to see it so close up....thanx for a great photo my friend !!
You naughty boy, these poor little insects would like a bit of privacy for themseves, lol. Can you imagine this tremendous stress they have suffered. I am afraid you might have affected their self-preservation instincts, ha, ha. And did they give their consent to show this intimate photo to the public, hmmm?
There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again. (groan)
Copulation at Ceades?....well that may get interesting!
But then I tried this last night, and I still can't stand erect anymore!
Mmmh, b.t.w. very nice image!

Unbelievable!!!!!! I am so behind in viewing and commenting...and just finished the voting booth...and this was there, and I didn't know who's work...but I was laughing and knew I had to see who the lucky photographer was. Congratulations! Gotta 10 from me! :)
Just ran across this Robert. Congrats for a great shot. I loved all the comments and I always thought they looked like helicopters refueling. Nice post.
