Incredible clarity in your capture and a bit comical. Without seeing his roost he's headed for, it just looks like someone's blowing wind up his tail feathers, LOL. Great work, Robert!
I did enjoy this ... very much so. Little I can write here ... other than "utter perfection" my friend. You've frozen this giant bird with marvelous clarity. First rate photography.
W~O~W fantastic work Rob, how the heck did you get this? Doesn't he really look like he's coming in to land, you can almost imagine hearing the landing gear coming down and the flaps going up!
Robert, you must have magical powers to capture such spectacular shots. Super details of this large fellow - you know I always love the bird feet, and his wing spread is impressive :) The clarity and bright blue of the sky are quite pleasing. I hope he had a safe landing, and thanks for such fine work :^)
Holy Mackerel Robert!! I bet a mackerel is what this ibis wishes was in his bill at this time!!
the clarity is incredible here. This is a true stop-action capture. The feathers, the bills, the feet, the colors...wow.
I probably will never , ever, in the rest of my natural life see an ibis in this close proximity.
Your photography is incredible and I am proud to not only have you as a friend, but to have this in my favorites as well as on my desktop. thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

very well done my friend!
