Some bright in-your-face mimulas this morning. Frequently mistaken for petunias the two plant species are not even related. These are also known as monkey flower.
We call them 'Mimilus' Kathy. They aren't well known in my area. I see rarely some of them. Thanks therefore for your wonderful image, in which light and shadow play a major role too.
