One from the prairie restoration near me - a red winged black bird sitting amongst the reeds. This is a very common bird along the roadsides in the United States.

I got attacked by one of them a few years ago. All I was doing was walking under a tree. It must have had a nest in the tree, and thought I was going to go near it or something. Beautiful shot of the bird, Kathy. Excellent clarity.
